“It got to a time I had to sell Kenkey to earned a living” – SP Kofi Sarpong narrates his early hustle

A prolific Ghanaian gospel musician who doubles as a highly ranked Police Officer, SP Kofi Sarpong has narrated some of the difficulties he encountered before finally finding his feet in life.

According to him, he had to sell Kenkey during his schooling days to cater for himself and support his education.

He made this disclosure during an interview with Roman Fada of Atinka FM, adding that it is through Kenkey selling that he got enough money to cater for himself at both the primary and secondary school level.

As narrated by him, he was from a very poor home and was raised by a single mother and later went to live with his grandmother in the village (Berekum).

He, however, advised the youth to be more determined and hardworking.
